I want to thank you heartily for helping us through the series of bad events that started when our 15-year old son was caught texting about pot at school and suspended on the spot. I found your firm online in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep, and from the testimonials, I was pretty sure you were the lawyer for us.

From the first time I contacted you for advice when he was called in for questioning at the police station, until after the scary school board hearing a month later, you were always calm, frank, and reassuring. And the fact that you were always available when ever I needed advice was just tremendous!

After you helped prepare him on how to answer questions at the police station truthfully and directly, his case was handled as a 'station house arrest," and no charges were pressed, and we considered ourselves lucky.

But then things took a turn for the worse when the local school board called a hearing to consider expelling him from school permanently! That would have been a harsh punishment for a naïve kid, but the school board took their zero tolerance policy very seriously!

In retrospect, I am so glad we asked you to accompany us to the school board hearing I can't imagine facing that adversarial situation without having had you to speak for us! And you helped us prepare for the school board trial with only three days advance notice!

Thankfully, the hearing turned out as you predicted it might. The school board ultimately decided to endorse the principal's recommendation -- and they only suspended him for the rest of the school year. And all things considered, although harsh, that was a good outcome!

Fortunately, the school district is providing tutoring for him to cover the three months of school work that he is missing. Although he may be a little lonely and socially isolated now tutoring is a far better choice than the school for juvenile delinquents that was the other option available to us!

In closing, I will say that you certainly earned your fees - your services were worth every dollar that we paid you! I can't thank you enough for the way you skillfully handled our son and our case, and helped us get our lives back in order.
